The new Board titles and job descriptions were presented and approved
FISF members want to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to Doug Rubbra and Doug Ward for their work on revising and updating the Board structure and job descriptions.
Bob Howlett pointed out that:
- Decisions regarding operations are taken by the Board, not the full membership, which calls for both a Board meeting and an AGM to be held in March.
- A Board of 13 members would make decision-making more manageable.
Peter Homulos clarified that:
- Board meetings are open to all members, but only Board members vote.
- Only the President is elected by the full membership.
Quorum at the AGM is not known.
ACTION: Peter Homulos will check
